Are you AFRAID to be great?

We all know that woman who LOVES to cook and entertain, we tell her she should open a restaurant. She normally responds with something to the effect that she's flattered, she's thought about it, but she thinks she'll fail.

We all know the artist who is their own worst critic. Their work is amazing but they can't see it.

We all know the person in Corporate America who has the best business idea, but isn't quite ready to step out on faith.

We see and walk past these people everyday. What's stopping them?

We all are born with a specific set of talents and abilities. I believe, no matter your religion, everybody was blessed with certain gifts. Chances are you believe you have certain gifts too. There's something that you're good at that others struggle with. You know that thing that people practice for years and you can make look easy? The thing that sets you apart from most people you know? Maybe there are several things that answer that question. Yea those! They may be your gifts!

Now that we've established what some of your gifts are, are you applying them?

Our creator gives us gifts so we can affect those around us in a positive way.

Are you affecting those around you?

If the answer to that is 'no'...why not?

Our gifts , with nourishment and nurturing, can affect many in our communities, cities, states, countries, and in some cases the world!

Will you practice and build your craft?

Will you apply your gifts to change lives around you?

Will you change the world?

Will you be great?

Or are you afraid?

Let's get to work..

Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?” — What Steve Jobs

Whats your end game?

Whats your end game?
Are you, right now, where you thought you'd always be in life?
Are you close to it?
You can’t change the past.
Think of all the hours at all your jobs. And that’s put you where you are today. Were you working on building a business of your own with residual income, a business you can sell or pass down, or were you trading your time for a paycheck?
Was it worth it?
Are you getting what you set out for?
It’s important that we all stop and think. Are we doing something that aligns with our end game. The sad thing is that most people don’t even have an end game because they never sat down to think about and design their perfect life and how they’ll get there. Most people spend more time planning vacations than they do planning their futures!

People say we should all dream again. Sure, dreams are good to have. But most people just become dreamers. The graveyards are full of dreams that were never lived, because they never created a plan....or if they did tried to exec…

"The most important career choice you'll make is who you marry"

"The most important career choice you'll make is who you marry"
Don't let anybody guilt you into a miserable marriage!
The majority of married people that you know are miserable because they settled to societal pressures .....even if they won't admit it.
Some folks out here getting married to say you're married.....but to each his own....as for me and my house if we can't be peaceful, loyal, & ain't eem trying to shoot at the same baskets & pay the same taxes I gotta keep it moving!
This is not to say marriage can't work. I absolutely believe it can, but with the right connection, reasons, and plan! But what do I know? I'm just a fat kid that eats too many crabcakes

When I was over 100k in delinquent debt

When I was over 100k in delinquent debt on the brink of losing everything I had to look myself in the mirror and take inventory. After making what I considered a tremendous amount of money at the time, now I sit here and realized I exhausted my savings, investments, credit, and almost ALL resources. I was blaming everything. The economy, bad partners, bad employees, stock market, location, bad vendors...you name it...I blamed it. But again, I had to take inventory How did I get here? Was it the economy? or was it me? Was it time to close businesses? Sell businesses? Sell assets? Was I successful as I thought I was? After careful consideration... I came to the conclusion I did work hard... I did do some things right.... but here I was... because I made some bad decisions and didn't hustle hard enough. Success made me soft. I stopped doing what I did to get there and coasted a bit. I did not prepare myself. I did not insulate myself. The economy WAS bad, but I still should have had better…
