5 reasons you need to diversify your income..

5 reasons you need to diversify your income..

Greetings friend.

I call you friend because I want you to know I'm not disrespecting anything about you or your income, I just want to make you aware of some concepts.

Do you get your income from one source? If so, these are some reasons you may want to diversify..

1. Cracked eggs

Your job isn't safe. With the economy the past few years, we've all learned we need to develop a back up income. Our parents told us,"Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Then, what did we do? Put all of our eggs in one basket. If you don't have multiple streams of income, all your eggs are in one basket. What are you going to do if the basket drops?

2. Control

You're not in control of your future if you only have one stream of income provided by someone else.
Do you feel better about your future in your hands or your boss'? Would you feel better about you providing your income or retiring on a third of your best years income with your lifestyle?

3. Get your dreams

Remember all the things you said you'd have when you were a child? Yea those! They're called dreams.
What are the chances of you accomplishing your dreams with what you're doing now? If applicable, does your boss care about your dreams?

4. Extra

There's nothing wrong with wanting the nice things life has to offer. However there is something with living beyond your means. Increase your means to get what you want. Or you might just need a little extra. What could you accomplish with some extra income?

5. Peace of mind

Do you worry about money? Want to stop? Build another stream. If you have a spare tire in your car, you need a spare income for your wallet. Which is more important a tire? Or your financial well being? Imagine having a strong secondary source of income. Feels good doesn't it? Build one...

You owe it to yourself to take your income situation seriously. Money can't buy happiness, but it's hard to be happy without enough. I wish you a prosperous day. Let's get to work...

Whats your end game?

Whats your end game?
Are you, right now, where you thought you'd always be in life?
Are you close to it?
You can’t change the past.
Think of all the hours at all your jobs. And that’s put you where you are today. Were you working on building a business of your own with residual income, a business you can sell or pass down, or were you trading your time for a paycheck?
Was it worth it?
Are you getting what you set out for?
It’s important that we all stop and think. Are we doing something that aligns with our end game. The sad thing is that most people don’t even have an end game because they never sat down to think about and design their perfect life and how they’ll get there. Most people spend more time planning vacations than they do planning their futures!

People say we should all dream again. Sure, dreams are good to have. But most people just become dreamers. The graveyards are full of dreams that were never lived, because they never created a plan....or if they did tried to exec…

When I was over 100k in delinquent debt

When I was over 100k in delinquent debt on the brink of losing everything I had to look myself in the mirror and take inventory. After making what I considered a tremendous amount of money at the time, now I sit here and realized I exhausted my savings, investments, credit, and almost ALL resources. I was blaming everything. The economy, bad partners, bad employees, stock market, location, bad vendors...you name it...I blamed it. But again, I had to take inventory How did I get here? Was it the economy? or was it me? Was it time to close businesses? Sell businesses? Sell assets? Was I successful as I thought I was? After careful consideration... I came to the conclusion I did work hard... I did do some things right.... but here I was... because I made some bad decisions and didn't hustle hard enough. Success made me soft. I stopped doing what I did to get there and coasted a bit. I did not prepare myself. I did not insulate myself. The economy WAS bad, but I still should have had better…
