5 reasons you need to diversify your income..

5 reasons you need to diversify your income..

Greetings friend.

I call you friend because I want you to know I'm not disrespecting anything about you or your income, I just want to make you aware of some concepts.

Do you get your income from one source? If so, these are some reasons you may want to diversify..

1. Cracked eggs

Your job isn't safe. With the economy the past few years, we've all learned we need to develop a back up income. Our parents told us,"Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Then, what did we do? Put all of our eggs in one basket. If you don't have multiple streams of income, all your eggs are in one basket. What are you going to do if the basket drops?

2. Control

You're not in control of your future if you only have one stream of income provided by someone else.
Do you feel better about your future in your hands or your boss'? Would you feel better about you providing your income or retiring on a third of your best years income with your lifestyle?

3. Get your dreams

Remember all the things you said you'd have when you were a child? Yea those! They're called dreams.
What are the chances of you accomplishing your dreams with what you're doing now? If applicable, does your boss care about your dreams?

4. Extra

There's nothing wrong with wanting the nice things life has to offer. However there is something with living beyond your means. Increase your means to get what you want. Or you might just need a little extra. What could you accomplish with some extra income?

5. Peace of mind

Do you worry about money? Want to stop? Build another stream. If you have a spare tire in your car, you need a spare income for your wallet. Which is more important a tire? Or your financial well being? Imagine having a strong secondary source of income. Feels good doesn't it? Build one...

You owe it to yourself to take your income situation seriously. Money can't buy happiness, but it's hard to be happy without enough. I wish you a prosperous day. Let's get to work...

Racism and Police Brutality

I know a lot of people have racism and police brutality on their minds now more than ever. Some are complaining about it and some are  actively thinking about how to fight it. Maybe you are as well. I hope you are. All it takes for Evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.. Have you considered how to make the Black community more powerful, so we can have a stronger voice in society? Have you thought of getting into financial shape, so you have a business or generational wealth to pass on to your children? What about the Black dollar? Have you thought about ways to keep the TRILLIONS of dollars we spend every year circulating within the Black community? These are the questions I’ve been thinking about for years and here’s how I’m putting in the work to make big things happen for our communities... I teach people how to create the kind of economy that has real power in America. Because the truth is… The only color they REALLY care about is GREEN  Money can give you access, power, an

I care about you and want you to be protected

I care about you and want you to be protected I will not mince my words here. We live in unprecedented times. I take the mission of equal justice under law VERY seriously. Quite honestly, we all know I own and operate  ShopMEEK.com  but I do not do build this business for money.  While I do like the residual income it provides, I already have enough to take care of my bills. I don't say that to impress you, I say that to impress upon you that I'm more mission driven than commission driven.  I take this very seriously and hope you do as well. When I was in my early 20s, I had a black Cadillac...vogue tires...black rag top...gold pin stripe...chrome FACTORY wheels...wooo that thing was clean.  I'm from the Eastend of Richmond. I always wanted a Cadillac. I've owned about 10...However I got pulled over and profiled once a week. It got so bad I ended up considering selling my car. I could not keep what I earned and deserved because cops decided to pull me over

Decade end....

Quick question... Have you reviewed your decade yet? I'm in the process of taking some time at the end of this year not only to look at the past year, but to review the past 10 years as the decade comes to a close. Isn't it amazing how far you've come since 2010 :) Where were you in your business in 2010? Where are you now? What did you start? What did you end? What investments did you make? What skill sets did you learn? What did you miss out on? I believe everything happens and unfolds in the way it should... I challenge you to do a personal and business audit. Decide what you want to keep...Decide what you want to discard. Decide what you want to do more of. Decide what you want to do less of.  Let's make your next move your best move and the rest of your life the best of your life....and make the beginning of this new decade one to remember!
