If there's one thing everybody hates, it's a person who talks the talk without "walking the walk."
Are we in agreement here?
It's common knowledge that one shouldn't tell someone to do something that they won't do. That's Credibility......Out.Of.The.Window.
There was once a great teacher, a grandmother & grand child. The grandmother asked the great teacher to tell her grandson to refrain from eating sugar. The teacher responded "Come back in the month." The grandmother did as instructed & returned in a month's time. The teacher politely asked the child to stop eating sugar, the child agreed. All was well.
The grandmother was grateful for the teacher's counsel but politely asked why he made her wait a month. The teacher replied "I cannot tell someone to stop doing something I'm doing. I had to quit eating sugar before I told him to."
That's one helluva example. Do before you tell, act before you preach, and do AS you tell...
Let's get to work.
