Control

Dominance is my thing.
I like to get things done & always feel more comfortable if they get done my way. 
This is an issue I've been fighting with myself over for the majority of my natural born life. However, as an adult, I'm starting to learn a few things. Let me share them with you. 
As of late, I've learned two very important lessons about control. Number one, you can't control other people & secondly, you can't control everything.  That may sound simple to you, but for a dominant type A personality like me, it's been somewhat of a challenge. 
Let's talk about controlling people, you can't. The end. 
I kid, but on a serious note, you can't. You can present the most logical of solutions or situations to a person and it simply doesn't matter. Empower, don't enable..

I'm generous. I actually enjoy giving.

I learned a long time ago that you can't even give without receiving something, even if it's just receiving the great feeling of helping another human being. I'm not saying this to brag, there's a point here. I promise. 

What are you getting at Meek?

We've all heard the age old adage "Give a man to fish and you'll feed them for a day, teach them to fish and you will feed them for a lifetime." It's a proverbial saying which suggests teaching someone how to get their own is much better than just constantly giving them everything. While I don't think this text means you shouldn't give, I think it does express a point.

Giving the concept or thought process is much better than repeatedly giving someone a solution to their problem or solving their problems for them. Let people solve their own problems. At the end of the day, we're all adults and are …
